What we have been up to

The Trails

• We maintain dialogue with OC Parks on the 9.7ac Craig Park Bike Park project build out as it moves toward it's 18 month completion target.

• We presented our case for a pump track in Laguna Beach, the City Council voted 5-0 in favor of a feasibility study for the site.

• We participated in the CAMTB Singletrack Summit along with several of our local trail orgs like OCMB, Ramblas San Juan, Laguna Canyon Foundation, Warriors Society and Skyline Drive Trails.

• We continue to push for the completion of the City of Irvine Gateway Project and have offered trail worker training and trail building grants to assist in this process.

• On behalf of the MTB community, we submitted a Bolt Act nomination authored by the Warriors Society for an awesome 85 mile route in the Cleveland National Forest. 

The Dirt

• We had multiple trail work days at San Onofre State Beach ("Dog Park") in collaboration with OCMB.

• We joined our friends at Mountain Foundation doing trail work in Big Bear during the Single Track Summit.

• We have participated in several trail assesments with the leadership at Laguna Canyon Foundation that will lead to a Fall schedule of activities in Aliso Woods Canyon and Laguna Coast Wilderness.

• We are setting up three trail work days for Whiting Ranch for October and November.

• We are working our 2025/26 plan to re-engage at Crystal Cove State Park for brushing.

The Events 

• We joined Gravity Cycles and a bunch of other great groups to support Pathways of Hope via the Christmas in July Ride on the Fullerton Loop, and yes Santa was there too!

• We had such a great time at the Fremont XC / Explore with OC MTB Races that we're doing it again. Sign up for Gypsum Canyon August 23

• Did we mention Good Dirt Ride on September 20?!

• We want to be a part of the fight, join us on the UC Irvine Ride to Defeat Cancer October 11

• We're working with Shimano and Rivian to host another fantastic community movie event showcasing the latest film in the Ritual MTB series, watch for the announcement date for October
