The Full Story
Corona Mountain Biking: Preserving and expanding trail access for mountain biking in
Corona through local advocacy and action.
The City of Corona contains access points to over 100,000 acres of National Forest Service
land and some of Southern California's premier mountain bike trails. Throughout the years, new
housing and commercial development has threatened this access. By working closely with City
leadership, local riders have successfully maintained access (or regained access in some
cases) to many of those trails. After roughly a decade of advising the City of Corona on
recreational trails, this group of passionate riders decided the best way to preserve and expand
access for future generations of mountain bikers was to formally organize. Through partnership
with OCMTBA, Corona Mountain Biking was born.
